Soccer Analyst Sutton Takes On Artist Olly Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
The Gunners' ten-match winning run came to an end by Sunderland before the international break, however will the Premier League frontrunners recover against north London rivals Spurs this weekend?
"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a plan for this match," remarked football expert Chris Sutton.
"Frank will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still manage to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, against AI, readers and a range of guests.
For week 12, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.
Murs' new record, the new release, is available on the weekend.
Soccer and Parenting Experiences
Murs is a skilled soccer player as well as a successful singer and has been a star of several Soccer Aid matches down the years - but he is not planning a professional comeback as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a charity match the other evening for a friend of mine," he explained. "My side was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it properly again.
"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or son decides to play instead."
Murs and his spouse Amelia Tank have two children, their daughter and their son, and he is ready to emulate his dad by becoming their manager.
"I won't push football on our kids but I've already told Amelia that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be coaching their weekend football team," he added.
"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a soccer team for a period too.
"My father coached with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I inherited it. He managed our side for two or three years and had great fun with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Premier League Predictions
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea may have to wait a bit longer for their star's return from injury but their offense is now more potent with Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.
I still think this game will be fairly tight, however. Burnley are well organised and their sole home defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
This suggests a one-all tie to me, but I am actually going to go with Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.
Sutton's prediction: 1-2
Olly's prediction: Chelsea will be too strong. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have lost their previous couple matches - albeit both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.
On the other hand, the Hammers won back-to-back victories before the hiatus and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they appear strong again.
West Ham's sole on the road victory this season came at Nottingham Forest in the summer, when West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo was still Forest coach.
So, what exactly do I go with here - can the Hammers continuing their streak under Nuno, or Bournemouth responding?
I will choose the Cherries, because I believe what occurred against Villa was a blip.
The pundit's forecast: 2-0
Olly's outlook: Bournemouth are doing well but the visitors have picked up under Nuno. 2-2
The algorithm's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the campaign began, but they have surprised a several people under their manager and are in good form with three in their last four matches.
My son advised me to get Bees forward Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I didn't listen.
The forward will likely score again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to select him or support the away side at Amex Stadium.
They have not had great fortune on the road this season, and the Seagulls are always strong at their stadium. The visitors will try to attack on the counter-attack but I feel Fabian Hurzeler's team carry much more of a threat.
Sutton's forecast: 2-1
Olly's prediction: This could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a many scores but it actually proves to be rather tight. 1-1
The computer's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive game for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six games.
Fulham have have lots of talent in their squad but it nonetheless feels like they could be sucked into a relegation fight.
As for the Black Cats, indeed they are the unexpected success of the top flight season so far.
Their display in the 2-2 tie with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We have not witnessed any other team disrupt the North London side like that this season, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The logical choice would be to support the Black Cats here, because they are clearly able of disrupting Fulham up too and, the last time they were in west London, they beat the Blues at the close of last month.
However I am not going to do that. Instead, I truly need to carry on opposing Sunderland with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their positive results because they evidently love to prove me wrong.
Considering Fulham's home record, the only team they have lost to is the league leaders. Marco Silva's side will be extremely eager for a good outcome, so I am going to say they will secure three much-needed points.
The expert's prediction: 1-0
Olly's prediction: I know Sunderland are performing strongly and also that the hosts are on a bad streak... but Fulham have still been respectable at home this campaign. 2-0
AI's outlook: 2-0

It is a hard one to call. The Reds have lost seven of their past 10 matches in all competitions, but could they be among the teams who benefit from the {international break|
