Intensive Moscow's Attacks Disrupt Power Across Ukraine's Capital

Energy infrastructure under attack in the region
Ukraine's energy systems have come under escalating strikes in the past few days

Throughout the evening, Russian aerial assaults have resulted in electricity outages in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Nine people were wounded while local people in eastern districts were experienced blackouts and encountered problems to drinking water, according to municipal leaders.

Simultaneously, a young boy was fatally injured in a different Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, based on information from local officials.

Moscow has increased attacks on electrical systems over the last fortnight, while the country's government has called for "concrete actions" from international partners to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the America, Europe and the Group of Seven - in providing defensive weapons and applying sanctions," mentioned in a public message.

Officials stated that numerous aerial vehicles and over thirty projectiles struck energy facilities, characterizing such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "critical infrastructure" as the weather cools.

The energy minister said Russia was "launching a major assault" and repair crews were laboring to repair systems.

A wave of strikes struck energy infrastructure and civilian homes in the capital.

Multiple people wounded in the attacks on the city have been transported for medical care, according to city authorities.

Local officials said the city came under significant strikes overnight. A young boy lost their life and three other people were injured.

The attacks succeed evenings of bombing campaigns in the area, parts of which are occupied by invading troops.

The entire country is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are tougher to identify.

National leaders told journalists that Russia was purposely seeking to demolish the national power system, with strikes already affecting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and government agencies were bracing for further attacks.
