Loyal fans of Ariana Grande are demanding that a person who leaped a fence and seized the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared footage shows the Australian man pushing past photographers and rushing toward Grande while the cast proceeded down a promenade surrounded by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the premiere by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "free after being detained", though official papers revealed that he was due to attend court on the next day. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account includes videos of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the city last winter.

"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is obviously a punishable act," stated an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Followers Voice Worry Over the Star's Safety

Numerous followers accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring hundreds.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote one more message on Instagram.

A number of attendees also faulted security officers at the gathering for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals called for online networks to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In clips shared widely, Grande appeared startled when she was touched by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.

Many of supporters had assembled in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore mall, including a number who had queued for as long as many hours before it began.

The motion picture, to be premiered on 21 November, is the sequel of a dual adaptation of the popular Broadway and West End production Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely bond between two distinct characters.

The production itself is a spin-off of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a rosé glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a sleek black dress featuring roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful movie of last year in the UK, and scored a dozen award recognitions, earning a pair for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
